Principal's Message
Dev Samaj College for women is an institution which was started as a result of renaissance that India witnessed towards the end of the 19th century. It is the one of the earliest attempts to give a concrete expression to women education and empowerment. Since its inception, it has shaped the destiny of the nation, the society and women through incredible contribution that was not confined only to the sphere of higher education but encompassed the moral, social and cultural fabric of our nation.
DSCW has been a pioneer in women education in India. It has the pride of having set the standards for every other institute to follow. We have been unsurpassed in our global reach and impact, as well as in the integration of global perspectives into our research and teaching. We are exemplifying the centrality of meaning, values and creativity in the mission of Bhagwan Dev Atma, the founder of Dev Samaj. Building on its nearly eight decades of rigorous intellectual inquiry, DSCW embraces these purposes in new ways. We attract and support the most talented students and faculty and provide them with the resources to perform their best. We sustain the remarkable community of researchers, teachers and learners, who are the heart and the engine of all we aspire to be and to do.
